Fun holiday practice

Ok, here’s a shocking figure: fewer than 10% of all secondary school students practice their instrument or voice during the school holidays!

Some see this as a well-deserved break from the stresses of practice, while others simply just forget to keep the habit going.
Unfortunately a lot of valuable progress is typically lost because of these breaks.

Part of the problem is that younger students often see practice as a chore – something that simply has to be done because their teacher or parent said so. But often a bigger problem lies in the material – let’s face it: scales and technical exercises are boring!

This is where our Voxtrain programme is trying to make a difference. The programme takes singers, from novice to professional, through an easy, fun and exciting practice routine and covers many areas of vocal development, from warm-ups and breath control to range and tonal development. This is ideal for those Summer practice sessions where you want to break free and have a bit of fun, but still make sustained progress!
